Impact Lynk’s Story
Impact Lynk was born from The Branson School’s Impact App Challenge, an annual competition encouraging students to design innovative solutions that create a positive societal impact. The challenge tasked participants with submitting ideas for a mobile app addressing real-world issues.
As students, we recognized a gap in how community service was managed at our school. There was no centralized or efficient way for students to discover, view, and register for local opportunities. Additionally, tracking and reporting these hours was a manual, time-consuming process for both students and school administrators.
In response, we developed Impact Lynk, a user-friendly platform that simplifies community engagement. Students can easily browse and sign up for nonprofit events, while schools benefit from automated tracking and reporting tools that save time and reduce administrative burdens.
While working to expand Impact Lynk to other schools, our goal is to make it easier for students and schools to perform mitzvot and to inspire other teenagers to make positive impacts in their communities.
